Our History
In 2011, my family and I immigrated to the United States from the Canary Islands, Spain. We were seeking a chance to grow and build a new life, driven by the promise of greater opportunities and the hope of a brighter future for our family. Settling in Binghamton, NY, I began working at SUNY, which became more than just a job—it became a source of inspiration.
During my time at SUNY, I noticed something remarkable: America’s vast array of products and innovations, such as advanced kitchen gadgets, unique fitness equipment, and high-quality artisanal goods. The variety and uniqueness of these products sparked an idea in me. I realized there was an incredible opportunity to bring these goods to Spain, where they could fill gaps in the market and introduce new, exciting options to consumers.
Fueled by this vision, I decided to take a leap of faith. I started by researching the most in-demand products in Spain and identifying reliable suppliers in the United States. Then, I invested my savings into a small initial shipment, testing the market by introducing these products to local businesses and consumers. With determination and a deep connection to both my heritage and my new home, I began the journey of sourcing and commercializing American products for the Spanish market. This was the seed that would later grow into my company, Umbrella Click.
